Very happy with my new c. I checked and the timer does keep excellent timing. The three small magnets on the back cling tight to my microwave where I have it stationed. It does wiggle a bit when you set the time, but will not come off.

The timer shuts itself off after one minute of non-use. It does not have a button to shut it off. I like that it shuts off after only a minute as this saves battery power.

I don't use the stand. I do prefer to just either keep the timer on the side of my microwave or just take it with me. The included lanyard is a good way to hold on to it.

The volume function is great! There are times when people are still sleeping early in the morning when we cook and that soft alarm volume is nice. The louder volume can cut through the noise of our busy household. It came to me switched to the softer volume. With my older eyes, it's a bit hard for me to see the symbols for the volume. I just know now that switched down, it's softer, and if the switch is upward, it's in the higher volume.

It came shipped to me in a sealed package. The ensures me that I know no one else has opened the package before me nor has it been exposed to dirt and dust.

When I opened the package, I saw the lanyard first. Then I noticed the timer wrapped in bubble wrap, and a AAA battery to the side of the timer. The timer does come with a user manual that makes it super easy to understand all the workings of this timer.
